Multicultural Pomerania – INVITATION FOR ENTRIES!

Multicultural Pomerania is a series of art events in the Baltic Sea Culture Centre in Gdańsk, intended to showcase the cultural and artistic potential of the incomers of different nationalities (immigrants, members of ethnic minorities) residing in the Pomeranian province.

The most important objective of this project is to hand over the artistic initiative to the representatives of various cultures living in Pomerania. We wish to support these artists in the implementation of their own projects in collaboration with the Baltic Sea Culture Centre. The BSCC team will offer broadly defined support, e.g. by showing how to prepare a cost estimate or draw up contracts in compliance with the Polish law, and how to organise and promote an event. We also envisage modest financial assistance for the implementation of most interesting ideas in the Old Town Hall or St. John's Centre.

That is how we want to help incomers to integrate in the cultural life of Pomerania and make multiculturalism a mark of our region, showing the abundance of potential offered by its residents.

The events of Multicultural Pomerania will be held several times a year as a programme accompanying the Festival of World Cultures Window Onto the World.

We invite you to send your proposals and ideas to the address: tomasz.lipski@nck.org.pl

Deadline for entries: 23 April 2018
