Congress of Polish Culture is one of the most important cultural events of the current year.

Initiated by Bogdan Zdrojewski, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, it will take place in the Auditiorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University of Krakow on 23-25 September 2009.

This year’s Congress is the 6th of  such kind of gathering of people that have the greatest influence on shaping the Polish culture. The aim of the Congress is to  evaluate the achivements of the Polish culture in the twentieth anniversary of the political, social and economical transformations, as well as to reflect and debate on the current and expected state of the Polish culture. In effect, it will be possible to indicate how this sector could be reformed.
