"Saturn. Czarne obrazy z życia mężczyzn z rodziny Goya" - literary meeting with Jacek Dehnel

The Baltic Sea Cultural Centre and W.A.B. Publishing House invite for a meeting with Jacek Dehnel and a conversation about his new novel, Saturn. Czarne obrazy z życia mężczyzn z rodziny Goya (Sathurn. Black Pictures From the Lives of Men of the Goya Family).

The conversation with the Author will led dr Piotr Millati.

Sathurn, the new novel of Jacek Dehnel, one of the most recognisable authors of young generation is a bitter story of life lived in the shadow of a genious. It is about the destructive pressure that a powerful and despotic father puts on his son.

Jacek Dehnel (born 1980 in Gdansk) – a Polish poet, translator,novelist, painter. Among others, author of a novel Lala (W.A.B. 2006), a collection of short stories Rynek w Smyrnie (W.A.B., 2007), collection of four mininovels Balzakiana (W.A.B. 2008). His novel Lala was translated into German, Hungarian, Italian, Turkish, Croatian and Lithuanian.
He has been awarded literary prizes that include the Kościelski Award in 2005 and the Paszport Polityki in 2007.
