Tired with the flood of popculture, some of the Pomerania based musicians – being conscious of their roots and tradition – tries to look for something new. They have many things in common: they were born here or live here, or are inspired by the culture and language of Pomerania and consider themselves Pomeranians. Standing against easily assimilated trends and inspired by what’s good in their own culture, the musicians create something fresh, different, their own and our own.

A colourful parade of Brass Bands will lead us to the concert! Come at 5.30 pm to Długi Targ and follow 150 musicians from brass bands from Lębork, Linia, Liniewo, Luzino and Sławoszyno. In a final, at the St. John’s Centre bands lead by Ireneusz Stromski will perform anthem of European Union, Ode to Joy.
