"Oh, soul of souls" - concert of "Sol et Luna" duet

Sasa Zuzanna Krasoczko - voice, recitation, daf
Mieczysław Eligiusz Litwiński - voice, recitation, tar, setar, violin, harmonium

The program of the concert includes traditional Persian music along with compositions of Mieczysław Litwiński inspired by Persian music. The artists will perform recitations ( in Polish and Persian ) of XII century mystic Jalal Rumi and songs - so called tasnifs - based on folk music and compositions of legendary Iranian artists, such as Sheida or Haide.

"Two voices in virtuoso scale" ( The New York Times ) , original Persian instruments - strings instrument : setar and tar, drum daf, small harmonium and violin - these are the means of "Sol et Luna" duet to create colorful and unrepeatable atmosphere on Iranian music. This is going to be an exceptional evening, also because the duet is the only group in Poland performing for many years the traditional Persian music, and they are doing it with great ease and passion. The artists have studied Persian music in Iran.
