"Pangea. Confession of imagination" - EXHIBITION

Pangea. Wyznanie wyobraźni - exhibition of drawing and painting by Sławomir Witkowski

Confession of imagination is a story of the very ancient times when the world was unity. Some called it Paradise, some Pangea. This is not a linear story with the beginning and the end.  It is rather the record of single scenes from fascinating, forgotten legend of the beginning of our existence.

Artworks presented at the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre were created within last three years. Mostly these are small, intimate drawings “alla prima”, spontaneous, sketchy, full of expression. I think that these drawings are special because they were not commissioned.  I fill my “drawer” with those drawings. The time has come to open this drawer a little.
