Grażyna Perl – Stories in Frames – EXHIBITION

Stories in Frames

I gaze at the world, and things, situations  and emotions arrange themselves into shapes and colours. I paint frames taken from life and my surroundings. It is the world and life that people usually hide from the hectic external events surrounding us. I preserve romanticism and beauty, nice and kind, not quite trendy these days... but also sadness and yearning, which we tend to conceal, afraid to get hurt. Each of my works has a specific, clear idea, although room for interpretation is also left for the viewers. It makes me happy if I see people identifying themselves with the story depicted, finding themselves in them like in a mirror. The viewer then takes possession of the story, painting it anew! Grażyna Perl

The exhibition is open until 9 August 2016 between 10:00 a.m and 6:00 p.m.
