New Music in the Old Town Hall - Sound, image, movement and music

New Music in the Old Town Hall - Sound, image, movement and music

The December concert of the New Music series in the Old Town Hall will show not only the variety of electroacoustic music, but also will prove her symbiosis with other fields of art, ease of integration with the image or stage movement. A special guest will be a Belgian composer, Todor Todoroff, who will present the work personally, or rather an audiovisual spectacle combining movement, live video projections and spatial music. He will perform eVanescens with Eva Giolo (video projection) and Sigrid Vandenbogaerde (cello). Let's add that the performance is extremely technically advanced, using motion detectors, special software and hardware constructed by the artist himself. It will surely be a special evening in the Old Town Hall - a real feast for the ears and eyes.

The programme will also include a very interesting piece by the Mexican composer Manuel Roch Iturbide, combining piano sounds with electronic layer and Larry Lake's almost meditation composition for accordion, live electronic media and tape. We also planned to screen a short film, which was inspired by electroacoustic music.

We hope that our concert, will be a nice gift for music lovers and an opportunity to experience unforgettable moments with contemporary music. As usual, there will be outstanding instrumentalists among the performers, who guarantee the highest level of performance.
