A few words about the concert…

We are starting a new season of New Music in the Old Town Hall soon – the tenth edition commences on 1 March. We are celebrating this anniversary with a unique programme featuring two artists from Italy. An outstanding flautist Gianni Trovalusci will perform several pieces for flute and electronics, including ones composed by a Polish artist Lidia Zielińska. We will also have the opportunity to hear the first performance of a piece by an American composer Hubert Howe, as well as some new Italian music. We will welcome the coming spring in the true Italian style thanks to the second invited artist – Lorenzo Brusci. This exceptionally versatile sound artist and inventor is a real man of the world, resident of multiple cities and involved in many different areas of activity. He will perform his new composition, intended as a summary of his twenty-plus years of creating electroacoustic music.

As its previous editions, our concert will combine live performance, new technologies and multi-media. The programme features compositions performed using advanced tools and presenting the current trends in contemporary music.

Start: 07:00 p.m.
Tickets (PLN 10) available one hour before the concert.

Concert organised in partnership with the Italian Institute in Warsaw.
