The Baltic Triennial of Tapestry

The Baltic Sea Cultural Centre invites you for a unique exhibition: The Baltic Triennial of Tapestry.

It comprises the collective exhibition “Polish Painted Silk” in Saint John’s Centre and Beata Czerepak’s individual exhibition in the Old Town Hall. They accompany the 7th Baltic International Triennial of Mini Textile and the 12th International Triennial of Unique Fabric in łódź.

Painting on silk is all about sincerity. Nothing can be changed. Paintings are fragile and their intensive colours create a real theatre of colour.

From 10th August in Saint John’s Centre works of following artists will be shown:
Joanna Butlewska-Cofta, Jadwiga Czerwińska, Teresa Grabowska, Edyta Jankowska- Kowalczyk, Bogumiła Klaudel-Rezdel, Roman Knychała, Lena Leźnicka, Teresa Maria Pieńska, Sylwia Sosnowska, Sylwia Katarzyna Stodolna, Krystyna Szlachta, Mariusz Szymański, Anna Woźniak, Maciej Zabawa, Aleksandra Bibrowicz-Sikorska, Barbara Argasińska-łozińska.

Exhibition is open until September 10th
