4. Window onto the world

A great, lively celebration of contemporary music, art, film and performance organized by the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre. This year s edition focuses on the idea of intercultural dialogue. The line-up includes: Baba Zula from Turkey whose music is a mixture of oriental and electro vibes, Kapaikos from Berlin – seven crazy unpredictable Germans playing punk on... mandolines, Mitch&Mitch – an equally mad band from Warsaw playing something like country-punk with a big dose of self-irony, DJ Spooky from the U.S who s going to present his audiovisual remix of the legedary American film „Birth of a Nation”, Kammerflimmer Kollektief from Germany with their beautiful disturbing ambient jazz, Ijahman Levy – the prince of reagge and a friend of the mighty Bob Marley, Municipale Balcanica from Italy with an amazing Balcan beat with a strong hint of the Italian flavour, IQ48 – rock from Belarus, The Twilight Sad – melancholic, deeply moving indie band from Scotland, and many many more!!!
