The photography exhibition of Wojciech Grzędziński A Need of Water in Sudan was organised by the Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) within the framework of the Water Campaigne – the TriCity audience will have a opportunity to see it included in the programme of the AfryKamera 2011 Festival.

Column of Culture (Słup Kultury) is a cyclical artistic action: a chosen artist takes control of a morris column situated next to the St. John’s church in Gdansk and – using any means – creates a piece that should stay in dialogue with the building, its history or surrounding.
To participate in the following edition of Column of Culture action we’ve invited one of the most interesting artists of the young Tri-City scene, Maciek Salamon.

The One Minutes (TOM) is a brand name for moving images that last exactly one minute. It fits well in our world of looking quickly, understanding immediately and it is a response to the influence of commercials, video clips and the increased affordability of camera’s, computers and access to Internet. The limited time frame forces the maker to think critically about what he/she would like to show us. The flexibility of the formula and the diversity of dissemination from the street to galleries, tv and festivals make it an attractive and accessible contemporary art form for a broad audience.
