A meeting with Piotr Sarzyński, from POLITYKA weekly magazine

The Baltic Sea Cultural Centre, 12-04-2012

A meeting with Piotr Sarzyński, from POLITYKA weekly magazine

Compere of the meeting will be dr. Jacek Friedrich

START: 18:00
ENTRY: Free

During the meeting there will be an opportunity to buy the book in a bargain price!!

As publisher is describing, Scream in the universe is a book for those, who are attacked by everyday ugliness in different forms – bad taste, rubbish, pseudo elegancy; and are determined not to cope with it anymore. The publication has gained very good response, and because of that, the author decided to start a blog with the same title as his book.
We hope that the outcome of the meeting in Gdańsk will be very stormy – subjects definitely won’t run out.

Carols with Franciscans

Holy Trinity Church, 06-01-2012

We invite you to sing carols with us!

This time we will host a distinguished artist Joszko Broda with band. This concert will be special: the program consists of carols and pastorals ingrained in the culture of alpine and eastern Poland. Joszko Broda discovered a fresh beauty of these songs by means of work of reaserchers from the Maria Curie - Skłodowska University in Lublin and rich collections of Jerzy Bartmiński.

Thanks to our cooperation Joszko Broda decided to enrich his repertoire with elements related to Pomeranian and Kashubian culture. Like in previous years, we will also collect money for a renovation of the precious relics from one of the most beautiful temples - the Holy Trinity Church. Money will be used to restoration of the barogue organ.
