 Prof. Teresa Klaman was born in 1948 in Gdańsk. In 1972 she graduated Faculty of Sculpture at the National Higher School of Fine Arts (today known as Academy of Fine Arts) in Gdańsk. From 1973 until September 2019 she was an educator at her alma mater.

Prof. Teresa Klaman presented her sculptures, drawings and ceramic works at 11 different individual exhibitions and more than 100 collective exhibitions throughout Poland and Europe. She also participated in multiple sculptural and ceramic exteriors and symposia. Two times Ministry of Culture and Arts scholar (1979, 1981), one time Finnish government scholar (1988), to go with one time scholarship of The Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation (1996). Winner of multiple awards and honorable mentions. Her works can be found in the collections of museums and galleries of modern art in Gdańsk, Szczecin, Berlin, Nurnberg, Wigry National Park, Grunwald Park near Munich, Düsseldorf, Bickenbach near Darmstadt, Sopot and Vienna.

The exhibition is accompanied by sculptural workshops called  „Symbolism of material in sculpture”.
