6th Festival of the African Films AfryKamera 2011

AfryKamera is the largest in Poland festival that presents to a wider audience contemporary African cinematography. During the past editions of the Festival we have been asking members of the audience about their sugestions, reactions on the movies we’ve selected, about their likes and dislikes. The strongest and most often appearing voices we have taken into consideration preparing this year’s programme of AfryKamera.

We have decided – following your opinions – to decrease number of films focused on the problems of Africa and try to chose more pictures presenting the achievements and successes of Africa and Africans.
Including films from the African mainstream, mainly produced in the Nollywood was also one of your suggestions.

With a great interest we will observe reactions of the Polish viewers on this so different and new cinematography!
