Wieczór w Teatrze Wielkim (A Night at the Grand Theatre) is a romantic poem of Stanisław Baliński that tells a story of time spent at the opera house. The poet – with humor, irony and a bit sentimentally – describes the world of artists of his epoch.
In marvellous interpretation of one the the best Polish actress', Anna Seniuk, there spectacle becomes an affirmation of the arts, a story about music, its creators and admirers, but it is also a story about the not existing world of pre-war Warsaw.
