Gdansk Reads to Kids - third meeting

Literarure has a power of setting ones thoughts and feelings free. Reading widens horizons, teaches to differ good from evil, develops imagination, helps to learn to formulate ones thoughts beautifully. Common reading builds emotional bound between children and parents. Let then Gdansk Reads to Kids!

START: 3.00 pm
ADMISSION free tickets (details beneath)

Once a month – on Saturday or Sunday – we invite kids with their parents to the Old Town Hall for a common reading of wortfull and beautifully illustrated books. Each meeting will last approximately 50 minutes. After reading we will invite kids to a little discussion: we shall give them space for wonderment, delight, emotion and independent thinking. We want them to find courage and pleasure in taking the floor, sharing their observations. What leads us is Korczak’s idea of a child as a thinking human being deserving respect. The meetings will end with interactive workshops.

Małgorzata Brajner and Piotr Białas

During the third meeting actors of the Wybrzeże Theatre, Magdalena Boć, Małgorzata Brajner, Marta Jankowska and Piotr Maszczyk will present books:
