"Geodesic" - exhibition of Daniel Hanzlik

We are inviting you to the exhibition Geodesic of Daniel Hanzlik, which is a part of the international Prague Contemporary Art Festival Tina B. 2011.

 

Daniel Hanzlik - was born in 1970, he studied glass making techniques at the Academy of Arts in Prague. Despite his specific education, he combines various arts with media: painting, photography with multimedia - which are very important to his work. Hanzlik creates also in urban space. Many of his projects are related to advertisement, which is a symbol of post - industrial civilization and a light source. Light is present in many of his projects - usually as a leitmotif, or as a mean of artistic expression. The exhibition presented in the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre is the first Polish presentation of his design.

- Face to face object

 

Thanks to Hanzlik a light will fill our Gallery during winter days.

 

Daniel Hanzlik was invited to Gdansk within the cooperation with organizers of the Prague Contemporary Art Festival Tina B. 2011. In October 2011 young artists from the Tricity presented their achievements in Czech Republic. The collective presentation was entitled Universal habitat, my habitat and was created by: Kamila Chomicz, Igor Duszyński, Agnieszka Gajewska, Sylwia Galon, Justyna Kuklo, Jan Kołodziej aka Autone, Urszula Wasielewska and Alina Żemojdzin. Artists from various countries presented their projects during the sixth edition of Festival.
