Metropolis is Okey at Radio Gdańsk - the Sunlit Earth

23 February we invite you to a concert from the series" Metropolis is Okey". On the concert the Sunlit Earth will  play the material from its first record "Between the Lines"

The Sunlit Earth is associated with Gdansk music scene but they come from the forgotten and the coldest town in Poland - Gizycko.

The Sunlit Earth band plays alternative rock-in their music one can hear agressive sound from New York, bringing notion of early "The Strokes", combined with melodies and young energy characteristic for the independent British scene. Despite that the band has a rather short history it was already awarded distinctions on "Fama" festival, first place in "Metropolis is Okey 2012" review, first place at "Muzyczne Ugiecia", an invitation to prestigious "Meskie Granie" last year edition and supporting "The Raveonettes" in Gdansk in 2013.

At the beginning of 2013 they published their first EP "There's Something in the Air" with "Nasiono Records. Their longplay "Between the lines" will have its premier on 23 February 2014.

Currently the band members are: Maciej Minikowicz ( voc, git. ) Maciej Komisarczyk ( drums) , Michal Prazmo ( bas, voc. ) , Jakub Kozak ( git.)
