Plateau with Renata Przemyk – CONCERT

PLATEAU is going to perform material from their fourth album Projekt Grechuta in acoustic versions, with guest star Renata Przemyk.
At the concert we will hear the biggest hits of Marek Grechuta in surprising interpretations of the band along with their own premiere  songs from their coming fifth album. The musicians do not only play traditional instruments but they also use wood saw, coffee tins or glockenspiel. Renata Przemyk is going to be the guest star of the concert – she is one of the most recognized singers in Poland, cooperating with the band since 2008. At that time the musicians of PLATEAU invited Renata Przemyk  to record “Nic nie pachnie jak ty”, broadcasted by radio Three and become hit on their chart.

The album Projekt Grechuta published in march 2011, taking fantastic reviews and wining audience recognition. It was best-selling album for couple of weeks in Poland. The album was produced by Wojciech Waglewski and had honorary patronage of Danuta Grechuta.

Just after publishing the album the band started a spectacular tour lasting successfully until today. They performed in such prestigious places as Congress Hall, National Philharmonic, Baltic Philharmonic, Torwar Hall, Roma Theater or the legendary Piwnica Pod Baranami. In August 2011 they opened XVII Woodstock Festival performing live for half million audience! A month later their concert from Fabryka Trzciny in Warsaw was transmitted live by polish television channel Two inaugurating their Autumn program. In October 2011 the television broadcasted “Szansa na sukces”  where talented amateurs performed songs from that album of the band from Wołomin.  In December 2011 PLATEAU with guest stars had two weeks tour in USA and Canada…
The band is often accompanied by guest stars:  Martyna Jakubowicz, Renata Przemyk, Katarzyna Groniec, Anna Wyszkoni, Małgorzata Ostrowska, Katarzyna Groniec, Adam Nowak (Raz Dwa Trzy).
The concerts within “Świętojańskie świętowanie” is organized by the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre.
