Baltic Sea Cultural Center has a pleasure to invite you for ANTYSTRESS, the periodical artistic and social event which takes place in Old Town Hall in Gdańsk.

ANTYSTRESS is an artistic integrative meeting which aims to bring together artists of Pomerania, presentations of interesting events, integration with local authorities, business and media.
Once a month the artists from Tri-City (Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia) meet with representatives of the local government and managers of companies representing the Pomeranian business. The goal of these meetings is to present new tendencies in contemporary art music, poetry and satire of Pomorskie. The further intention is expecially the integration of creative environment and self-governed local business whose aim is a common benefit for whole region. We rely on a large audience who will warmly welcome the artists. We would like to give an opportunity to all original and sensitive artists, giving them the place for their presentations. We are open to every artistic idea and invention in the field of music, literature, dance, sculpture, painting and photography.

The seventh edition of ANTYSTRESS is going to be a recapitulation of Christmas atmosphere. Except traditional Christmas carols and songs we plan to have fun and many other attractions.

Moderators of the event: Tomasz Olszewski and Larry Okey Ugwu.

The programme includes: Krysia Stańko, Tomasz Olszewski Trio, Ikenga Drummers, Exits, Hevelius Brass, Emil Kowalski with Leszek Dranicki, Grupa Kabaretowa Muflasz and many other talented artists.

ANTYSTRESS programme expecially consits of interesting arrangements of traditional Christmas carols (from instrumental jazz versions to pulsing rhythm regae). An interesting detail to add – Larry Okey Ugwu will tell about African holiday customs and then perform festive Nigerian songs with his group.
