The Common and the Own is a dialogue of two different artistic stands – interesting as artists whose works are to stand abreast are sister and brother. She, Barbara Polkowska-Ugwu is an interior designer who with passion realises herself in textile art. He, Krzysztof Polkowski is an educated painter focused on site specific art.

Everything that’s „own”, individual differs them, but there is also a common sphere: couriositi and exploration of simbolic forms, fondness for signs and metaphores that become an inspiration for own works.

During presented exhibition Barbara Polkowska-Ugwu and Krzysztof Polkowski shall cross together curved paths of a maze. We’ll see where will that get them…
