A new exhibition in the BSCC gallery Black in colour – colour in black will present a series of graphics of Dariusz Syrkowski, that have been created within 2009-2011.
In his works Syrkowski provokes a specific tension between pure, expressive colour and black, sharp stroke , that builds secret, illusional constructions.

The opening will take place April 15 at 6.00 pm. Admission free.
The exhibition will be open each day from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. Admission: 1 zł.

Dariusz Syrkowski – painter and graphic designer born 1966 in Nowy dwór Gdański.
In 1992 graduated from the Fine Arts Academy in Gdansk, Painting and Graphic Design Department (prof. Mieczysław Olszewski class). Since 1993 he’s been working at the Fine Arts Academy in Gdansk. In 2003 has received a title of Doctor of Arts.
His works has been exhibited in Poland and abroad. He had 17 individual exhibitions and participated in 70 group exhibitions.
