An exhibition “Remember the gardens”

For the fifth year in a row, at the turn of August, an exhibition of paintings by artists from Pomorze region and a Lithuanian spa town Druskininkai is organised in the gallery of the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre in the Old Town Hall in Gdansk.

This year the exhibition is entitled Remember the gardens. Each time the display is extremely diverse – it comprises painting, graphic arts and drawing – all the works by several dozen Pomeranian and Lithuanian artists.

The participants in the exhibition are mainly the graduates of schools and academies of fine arts who live in Pomorze region or in Druskininkai, but also professional and amateur artists, renowned authors of famous works and artists at the beginning of their artistic career.

Maria Borkowska-Flisek (a community worker) is the organiser of the exhibition, Grażyna Kunicka is the curator, and the whole has been arranged by a group of good-hearted people with good taste.
