Gdańsk Symphony - concert on the sounds of the city

The project takes place on 28 June starting at 9 p.m. in the center of Gdańsk: around the main train station, Old and Main Town and Motlawa river. We invite you to this unusual concert, where the role of the instruments is played by characteristic sounds of the city condensed and presented in the form of a piece of music.

Gdańsk Symphony consists of three parts. First part starts by "Zieleniak" ( the tall green building close to the main train station ) with the emission of sound material from the control tower of the Port of Gdańsk. We will hear the sounds of the communication between ships entering and leaving the port. Later we will hear the sounds of the trains, police and firefighters sirens, sounds of buses and trams. In the second part the audience will be led by the Orchestra of Maritime Unite of the Border Guard to the Green Gate. The bells of the churches will sound and two concert carillons: from st. Catherine and main Town Hall. Third part of the symphony will take place on Motlawa river where we will hear the sirens of the White Fleet and Soldek.
