Euro Chamber Music Festival

Euro Chamber Music Festival for the third time in Gdańsk !!!

 21 June, the first day of summer, is celebrated all over the world as the International Day of Music, and on this day third edition of  Euro Chamber Music is beginning in Gdańsk. For four day, the excellent artists from Poland, France, Germany, Serbia and Italy are going to perform on the festival, written for good on the cultural map of the Pomeranian region.

In the program the audience is going to find, among others, complete piano trios of Jahannes Brahms played by Trio Braque and the performance of the recognized brass bands- Reed Connection Quintet and Hevelius Brass.

The real hero of this edition is Carl Philip Emanuel Bach-for whom the festival dedicated a piece by Mladen Miloradovic- commissioned especially for the 300 years birthday anniversary of the son of the great master from Lipsk.

Among the accompanying events there are photography workshops led by an outstanding Pomeranian- Maurycy Śmierzchalski and a multimedia exhibition by a young artist from Warsaw-Antonina Konopelska. The exhibition is open for visitors during the festival, from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Old Town Hall in Gdańsk.

Concerts, as every year, are taking place in the beautiful historic interiors- Old Town Hall and st. Catharine Church in Gdańsk. The festival is organized by Artists Association "ready for anything" and co-organized by the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre in Gdańsk. The project is taking place under the honorary patronage of the Marshal of Pomorskie Voivodeship- Mieczysław Struk and financed by Gdańsk City Council. The Baltic Sea Cultural Centre strategic partner is Grupa Lotos S.A., and the festival is sponsored by Bank Zachodni WBK
