The Baltic Sea Cultural Center and Sphinx Foundation are the organizers of the exhibition Museum of curiosities which will be opened in St. John’s Center 21 October at 8 p.m. The exhibition is connected with multimedial artistic event taking place the same night in Pawilon Sztuki Sphinx in Sopot.

Sphinx Foundation and Club Sphinx have been organizing exhibitions – or rather artistic events - named Museum of curiosities since 1999. Artists who take part in it represent all kinds of arts. They are both – professionals and amateurs: intellectuals and politicians who want to express themselves through art. Continuing famous since XV century tradition of exposing not only works of art but also curiosities Museum of curiosities focuses on the works which mix different elements from all kinds of art: painting, sculpture, theater, music, video art, installation etc.

In the exhibition take part: Henryk Cześnik, Józef Czerniawski, Robert Florczak, Marian Główczyński, Maciej Gorczyński, Alicja Gruca, Adam Hryniewiecki, Piotr Jahołkowski, Jacek Kornacki, Anna Królikiewicz, Tomasz Krupiński, Barbara Kruszewska, Kacper Ołowski, Jacek Staniszewski, Maciej Szupica, Jarosław Max Szwoch, Małgorzata żerwe, Dj. Romero, „Chlupot Mózgu” group with a famous musician Sławek Jaskułke, Paulus & Gdańsk 2000 and Harald – German artist.
