Volunteers wanted!

The Baltic Sea Cultural Centre, City Culture Institute and European Solidarity Center are inviting volunteers to cooperate in organizing national Forum Together for a Just Future: Learning from Each Other through Social Dialogue on Diversity, Equality and Democracy, taking place in Gdańsk between 01-02.03.2013.

Mass Media are continually informing us about dramatic situation in Syria, Egypt and North African countries. How much do we really know about what is going on there? How can we help ordinary people living there? The Forum will be devoted to such questions. The participating organizations will share experiences in multicultural dialog and civil activities.

Volunteers will be responsible for :

- keeping the conference reception
- preparing information and promotional material for conference participants
- informing the participants about the program and conference locations
- guiding the participants between the conference venues

We are looking for people free to volunteer from 25.02.13 - 02.02.13 - the detailed program for volunteers will be discussed individually.

We offer the volunteers the chance to gain valuable experience in organizing such conferences, to deepen knowledge of relation between Poland and Euro Mediterranean region in historic, social, political and cultural perspective. We will give our volunteers recommendations proving their voluntary work.
