“Shapes of Pomerania” – online art workshops for families

Are there any young amateurs of modeling in dough? We bet there are. We present these tutorials especially for you. You will see how to create realistic animals, subjects and even heroes of Kushubian legends in few easy steps!

“Shapes of Pomerania” encourages childres and their parents to explore nature and culture of Pomerania region. Each episode is dedicated to a different theme. We will make creatures inhabiting the Baltic Sea and old-time regional cutlery. We will also try to imagine how the creatures from regional legends could look like.

New episodes are released on Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. – on our website and Facebook, according to the schedule:

The workshops are presented by Monika Sobczak-Konca – painter and art curator at the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre.

Before you sit down in front of your computers, prepare your dough. You will need:

  • 1 glass of flour
  • ½ glass of fine-grained salt
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon acid
  • 1 glass of water (90 degrees)

Mix it all up with a tablespoon. Once the dough cools, knead it with your hand. Keep the dough in a closed box to protect it from drying.

Caution: leave the works to dry (do not bake it).
