Already for the 4th time we will invite you to enjoy the contemporary Lithuanian art with us. This year, during Vilnius in Gdansk Festival we will present exhibitions, concerts, films and animation. As an addition we have also prepared a fair of traditional Lithuanian crafts.

The idea standing behind the Festival is that – although Lithuania is a Polish neighbour – we still don’t know much about this country. We believe that art can the best ambassador of dialogue and understanding.

Until now the Festival has presented visual artists of different generations. We decide to correlate young artists with those who have already gained recognition. We will stay faithful to this formula also this year presenting an exhibition of an artistic duo S&P Stanikas, Ignasa Krungleviciusa and Cooltūristės.

Preparing the music programme of the Festival we decided to again connect acclaimed instrumentalists from Poland and Lithuania. During a final concert Saulius Petreikis, Olo Walicki, Jarosław Bester, Tomas Dobrovolskis, Grażyna Auguścik, Michał Jelonek, Joszko Broda, Jan Maksimovic will perform for you.
