About the album:

This is a music fusion realized on electric viola, supported by guitar multi-effects. It is an introvert and emotional journey of the artist, through “grey and depreciated realms of human existence in the modern world, not always black and not only white”. The musical material is oscillating round widely understood world music, with elements of ambient, progressive rock, movie soundtracks and folk.

Daniel “DanielS” Sobiesia – a viola player a composer born in 1986 in Słupsk, started learning th viola at the age of 10 and completed the education at the Music Academy in Gdańsk in 2012. He is the laureate of solo and chamber music contests. He performed as a soloist and a leader of viola ensemble in various orchestra projects. Preforming as chamber music player he visited countries like “New Zealand, Australia, China, South Korea, Turkey, Italy, Greece, Austria, England, Iceland, Canada, USA and Mexico.

Liking many different styles made him search for new sounds on electric viola. Applying guitar multi-effects he started working on his compositions and on the viola, an instrument associated mainly with classical music, he ventures the fusion of styles and genres.

In April 2014 he made a video with autistic youngsters promoting his first single GREY from “GREY EMOTIONS, DEPRECIATED FEELINGS”
