Joanna Skurska is a Gdansk Academy of Fine Arts graduate, now lives and works in Germany. She has participated in over 50 individual and group worldwide exhibitions and her works have been recognized in numerous competitions in the field of painting and textile art. Since 2002 she is a co-manage Red Corridor gallery in Fulda.

Skurska’s works in a sublime way combine elements of textile art and sculpture. Her three-dimensional designs, made of a copper wire and mesh, are extremely delicate and airy. Finely made objects seem to silently whisper about the secrets of a woman's psyche, deeply concealed emotions, things weighty and serious.

The exhibition will highlight works done in the past 3 years, as well as objects from the new series "The Unbearable Lightness of Being".
