Once upon a time, in Italian Verona there was a professor who answered letters addressed to Julia Capuletti – the everlasting simbol of pure love. In 1993 Elvis Costello with Brodsky Quartet recorded an album inspired by this charming tradition: 16 years later, Costello’s 20 beautiful songs perormed by Polish charismatic actress and vocalist Katarzyna Groniec were released. The music to „Listy Julii” ("The Juliet Letters") album was produced by Marcin Boros and arranged by Łukasz Damrych and Tomasz Kosiukiewicz. The lyrics were translated into Polish by Katarzyna Groniec.
