Beethoven 250th

Postponed for half a year and highly anticipated celebration of 250th birthday of Beethoven – the father of the EU anthem, the master of music of late classicism and early romanticism.

 

This will be the vocal part of the celebrations at the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre, the celebrations which we started with cameral concert online in 2020.

This time live, we will present songs, a rarely performed duet “The Chase of the Wolf”, aries and parts of the 9th Symphony.

The specialty of the evening will be a premiere of a lost piano part from Baron Picourt’s aria, prepared by a young composer, student of the Stanislaw Moniuszko Music Academy in Gdańsk, Piotr Kasiłowski.
