CAS (abbr. "Senior’s Activity Centre") Theatrical Group was initiated in 2006 by a dance group director Inessa Lerner. Their repertoire includes 12 spectacles, both for adult and children audience. The spectacles were staged in Gdynia, Sopot, Gdansk, Tczew, Malbork, Starogard Gdanski and Warsaw. The group won 2nd place at the 2nd Polish Universities of the Third Age Festival in Warsaw.

Inessa Lerner graduated from dance school (1983) at a musical theatre in Kamianske (formerly Dniprodzerzhynsk), Ukraine and culture high school (1987) in Kharkiv, Ukraine. In 1994 she graduated Institute of Culture in Kharkiv, cultural-teaching department, theatrical directing. She nostrified her diploma in Poland in 2004. In the 80s, she worked as a ballet artist at Russian Musical-Dramatical Theatre in Kamianske (formerly Dniprodzerzhynsk), Ukraine. In the 90s, she worked as a choreographer and director. She has been living in Poland since 1999. She opened a children dance group called “Dance-Show” (she cooperated with them until 2005). She has taught theatre. She has been a stage movement and basic acting tutor in Gdynia Art School since 2005. Also since 2005 she has been working with disabled children as a theatre and dance teacher. She created theatrical group “CAS” in Senior’s Activity Centre in Gdynia. In 2010 the group won 2nd place at 2ndd Polish Universities of the Third Age Festival in Warsaw for the play “Wigilijna noc” (“Christmas Eve Night”).
